Just to recap from last week:
1. You can continue to work on your music from class. There are recordings for you at the RECORDING OF MUSIC tab above. Use them to help you practice! I will add more practice videos, so check weekly.
2. Last week I posted some new warm up and note reading material, so check that out in last week's post below.
3. Want new music??? Go to https://www.8notes.com/
and LOGIN - email: [email protected] password: orchestra
Put your instrument name in the search bar.
There is lots of FREE music for you!
You can print it, listen to it and play to an accompaniment.
4. 6th Graders- If you are signed up for orchestra at HIllside next year, you MUST be playing. GO TO MUSIC TO PRINT AND SCROLL DOWN. PRINT THE MAY SONG TO WORK ON. Here are videos to help you work on May Song. I just added Long, Long Ago. You can listen to it on 8notes.com and also play to the piano accompaniment. I will make a video and post by Monday!

Also, choose some new music and have fun, but keep working on your skills. Work on note reading!! There are note reading lessons on 8 notes, or go to https://www.musictheory.net/exercises and change to your clef in the cog on the top right. practice note reading!
