Tuning can be scary and difficult. Above all else it takes patience and practice. Be prepared to break a string or two. Here are some helpful videos. The most important take away is that violin, viola and cello all require pegs to be pushed in as you turn to make them stick in the hole. If you on;y turn they will "pop out" Bass pegs turn easily with gears. Viola is tuned like a violin, just with strings being C (lowest) G, D and A (highest) Use a tuner or tuning app to help you!
